14th May 2014

We are delighted to announce the full programme for GARNet 2014, including keynote speakers Alistair Hetherington (University of Bristol), Maarten Koornneef (MPI for Plant Breeding), Rob Martienssen (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories), Andrew Millar (University of Edinburgh), and Paul Schulze-Lefert (MPI for Plant Breeding).

GARNet 2014 will be held at the University of Bristol on 9-10 September. It is a unique opportunity for all those interested and working in plant research to share their news and expertise. There will also be plenty of opportunities to network informally over refreshments, a drinks reception and conference dinner.

Talks and posters will cover the breadth of fundamental plant science across five themes:

1. Genome Biology

2. Physiology and Productivity

3. Natural Variation

4. Systems and Synthetic Biology

5. Plant Interactions with their Environment

For student and post-docs, we are pleased to offer 10 bursaries to cover the registration fee, UK travel costs and one night’s accommodation. To apply for a bursary, register and submit your abstract by 1 June.
